Will Feral also answers to O'malley Cat. |
Anyway, that is what sleeping in my house is like.
We all go to bed, snuggled under our covers, and we all get about 2 hours of sleep. Then the coughing starts. It's enough that it wakes me up. I then sleep/listen/wonder and worry for most of the night while my son gasps and struggles for air.
The bad news is we're on week 8 of the cough.
The worse news is, my Pediatrician says she thinks the culprit is a furry orange beast named Will Feral. All signs point to a cat allergy.
Does anyone want my delicious orange kitty named Will Feral? He'll kill any kind of rodent you need killed... he's got mad skillz like that. This whole situation makes me sad.
Mostly, I'm sad about this because my kids are going to hate me for getting rid of the cat.

That would be terrible! Such a gorgeous cat. I will hope Will Feral can be happily relocated and the cough goes away but if the cough remains does W.Feral get to come home???
That is so terrible!! I'm sorry for your little guy! Will Feral is gorgeous!! I wish I could take him, but I'm a little far away.
:(
have you tried removing him for a little while to see if things improve? sorry you have to go this route...I would take him if I could...
Boo... Lyle is "allergic" too. I think he may be ALLERGIC to me as well.
i remember my parents getting rid of our cats when they found out my sister was highly allergic.even though she was pretty much allergic to everything that had fur, collected dust, pollen,mold,etc..
we kept the dog outside and it didnt bother her that much.
i do hope your lil guy's cough goes away soon!
sure hope you feel better soon!!
Have you had your son allergy tested? I would think so, but didn't want to assume. Strangely, whooping cough is really making a comeback around here, so that is what I first thought of. I don't know if that would last that long though.
I would have a really hard time getting rid of our dog if this cropped up in our house. She's as much a baby to me as the others. Of course, in the end, the two-legged babies come first. If it comes down to giving her away, just try to find her the best home you can and try not to beat yourself up about it. :(
booo I am so allegic to cats....my girls want one so badly and I cannot even get there hair around me and I am a total wreck :( I hope Will feral finds a great home.....want our puppy??
Awww...I am so sorry that has to happen! :(. Sending you all over there warm hugs...
I wish it was just a fur ball. He's a beautiful cat. I hope you can find him a happy, mouse-riddled home.
